Jim Magee, CxA, LEED BD+C, President; Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in Mechanical Engineering; EIT #8892. Jim has experience as a certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) #97-06-35 with the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) from 1987-2009, a co-author of the ACG Commissioning Guideline for Building Owners, Design Professionals, and Commissioning Service Providers, a charter ACG certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) #902-002, a USGBC LEED Accredited  Professional (LEED AP) and immediate past president of the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG).  Jim is immediate past President of the Southeast Region Chapter of the Building Commissioning Association (SERBCA).  He is a member of ASHRAE, BCA, and  USGBC.  Sample commissioning projects include Lucas Oil Stadium, Sweetwater, Fort Campbell – Division Command and Control Facility, and Eastern Kentucky University – New Science Building.  Jim specializes in HVAC troubleshooting and commissioning laboratory fume hood systems.
 

 

Todd Yates, P.E., CxA, LEED AP, Vice President; Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in Mechanical Engineering; licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (#20447), Indiana (#PE10001131), Tennessee (#001906392) and Alabama (#27716E); has experience as a certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) #97-06-34 with the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) from 1991-2009, a charter ACG certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) #1004-042 and is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Todd is a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).  He is the lead commissioning agent for the Indianapolis Public Schools – Capital Improvements Program. Todd has performed mitigation commissioning for secondary schools in Kentucky and Indiana. Sample commissioning projects include Indianapolis Public Schools Capital Improvements Program Phase I, II and III, IUB – Ashton Apartment Complex, Indiana University SE – Library, Purdue University – Mechanical Engineering Building – Gatewood Wing.  Todd possesses extensive HVAC experience with K-12 schools and higher education buildings.
 

Matt Adams, CxA, Commissioning Authority; Mechanical Engineering studies at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis; ACG certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) #609-505.  Matt has experience as a project manager for Engineered Control Systems and Control Solutions/TAC from 1996-2006.  He is trained as a Certified Energy Manager through Control Solutions/Cinergy Inc.  He is a Certified Tridium Technician, a Certified Honeywell Technician, and a Certified CSI Technician.  Matt has obtained a Type Universal Certification license (#2192624) from the American Refrigeration Institute.  Since joining Facility Commissioning Group (FCG) in 2006, Matt has worked extensively on Indianapolis Public Schools Capital Improvements Program Phase I, II and III, Plainfield High School, Indiana University School of Medicine – Information Science Building, and Warsaw High School renovations.
Will Conn, EIT, CxA, CEM, Commissioning Authority; Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in Mechanical Engineering; EIT #12258; Certified Energy Manager #14774; ACG certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) #609-510. Will has served full-time as a primary commissioning agent executing the commissioning process since 2004. Will is a member of ASHRAE and Association of Energy Engineers #59521. Sample commissioning projects include Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) Administration Building, Ball State University – Park Hall, University of Kentucky Central Utility Plant, Kenton County Public Schools, and the Muhammad Ali Center.
 

Kim Kissick, CxA, Commissioning Authority; Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Louisville; ACG certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) #609-512. Kim has building systems operation, maintenance, and design experience since 1985. Kim's expertise includes central chiller plants, central steam plants, HVAC mechanical system & controls, clean rooms, electrical distribution systems, life safety systems, emergency power generator and automatic power transfer systems. Sample commissioning projects include Camp Atterbury - Department of Public Works, Bartholomew County Schools Corporation - Columbus North and East High Schools, Purdue University - Mechanical Engineering Building, and Indianapolis Public Schools Capital Improvements Program Phase I, II and III.
Dan Adam, AIA, CxA, Commissioning Authority; Bachelor Degree Level in Architectural Design/Construction Management from Ivy Tech College; Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) #311-785.  Dan has industry experience since 1974.  Dan is a member of the American Institute of Architects (#30102557). Sample commissioning projects include Clark County High School, Medical Center at Bowling Green - High Street Inpatient Hospital Expansion, Medical Center at Franklin - Roof Top Unit No. 1, and Medical Center at Franklin - Surgery Department Expansion.  Dan specializes in commissioning architectural features.
Jim Adams, P.E., CxA, RCDD, Commissioning Authority; Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in Electrical Engineering; licensed professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (#19845) and Ohio (#275323); ACG Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) #711-871; Registered Communications Distribution Designer, RCDD (#140157) and holds certification as a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).  Jim is a member of the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) organization. Jim has industry experience since 1991.  Sample industry projects include Eastern State Hospital, Eastern Kentucky University - New Science Building and Western Kentucky University - College of Education & Behavioral Sciences.  Mr. Adams provides commissioning support relating to electrical distribution, lighting, life safety, emergency power generator and automatic power transfer systems as well as fire alarm and various low-voltage systems.
Randy Adams, Procurement Manager; Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University in construction technology and energy management diploma from North Carolina State University. Randy has industry experience since 1986. Randy has taken training in Automated Logic WebCRTL Training, Johnson Controls Metasys Training, Unilox Boiler Training, York Centrifugal Chillers Training, Siemens Building Automation Training, and LEED Certification Training. Sample commissioning projects include Asbury University - The Andrew S. Miller Center for Communication Arts, Eastern State Hospital, Kentucky State University – Center for Families and Children and Northpoint Training Center - Replacement Facilities.
Bruce Cook, Commissioning Agent; Bachelor of Science degree in HVAC Engineering Technology from Ferris State University and Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies from the University of the State of New York. HVAC universal certification, and Johnson Controls Institute - Digital Controls Systems coursework that includes Metasys PMI Facility Operator (#350), ASC Engineering (#353), Extended Architecture for Building Engineers (#389), Extended Architecture Engineering and Setup (#391) and Metasys DX9100 Engineering (#364). Sample commissioning projects include Purdue University - Marriott Hall, Purdue Research Foundation - Greenhouse, Purdue University - Hanley Hall and Purdue University - Lilly Hall West Wing Laboratory Renovations Phases VI-A/B.
Russ Gardner, Commissioning Agent; Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Engineer Intern License #ET30303088 and ARI Technician License #2252466. He is a member of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). Russ has experience as a project engineer of HVAC safety to ensure applicable HVAC equipment and construction safety standards are followed.  Sample commissioning projects include Indiana State University - Scott College of Business, Ivy Tech Community College - Fall Creek Expansion and IPS #31 James A. Garfield Elementary School.
Glenn Miller, CxT, Commissioning Technician; Associate degree in Applied Science at Paducah Community College, Business Management / Drafting & Design Studies at Murray State University; ACG Certified Commissioning Technician (CxT) #079-722 .  Glenn has industry experience since 1991.  Glenn has experience as a certified Test and Balance Technician (#12-06-03) with the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) from 1991-2010, has taken 10 hour and 30 hour OSHA Safety Courses, has USEC/HAZMAT training (24 hours) and NES/Operator Training for using Scissor and Boom Lifts.  Sample commissioning projects include, Fort Campbell - Army Reserve Center, Fort Knox - ECIP Renewable Solar Wall and Daylight project and Fort Campbell - SOF Language Sustainment Training Facility.
Ron Matar, Thermographer; Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in Agricultural Engineering and 37 class hours of Civil Engineering Graduate studies; licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (#15355).  Ron has industry experience since 1983.  Ron possesses Level 2 certification from Snell Infrared in accordance with guidelines set forth by the American Society for Nondestructive Training.  Sample thermography projects include Fort Campbell - Soldier's Family Assistance Center, Kenton County Twenhofel Middle School and Fort Campbell - Unit Ops - CID COF Renovation and Addition.
Lee Bayer, CxT, Commissioning Technician; Business Economics studies at University of Kentucky; ACG Certified Commissioning Technician (CxT) #058-710.  Lee has industry experience since 2007. Lee is certified in OSHA 510 - Standards for Construction and the American Heart Association CPR AED program.  Lee has taken HVAC, fan flows, and fan curves training  courses at the Loren Cook Facility in Springfield, MO.  Sample commissioning projects include Western Kentucky – College of Behavioral Sciences, Gateway Community & Technical College - Boone Campus Phase II, Eastern Kentucky University - New Science Building and Kenton County Middle Schools – Turkey Foot Middle School.
Jim Fitzpatrick, CxT, Commissioning Technician ; Graduate of Cincinnati Ohio High School; ACG Certified Commissioning Technician (CxT) #078-711.  Jim has industry experience since 1987.  Jim possesses a carpenter apprenticeship, has taken 10 hour and 30 hour OSHA Safety Courses and has completed Building Survey Training Courses through Allied Construction Industries. Sample commissioning projects include Defense Supply Center Columbus - USPFO Warheouse, Western Kentucky University - College of Education & Behavioral Sciences and Kenton County Middle Schools - Turkey Foot Middle School. Jim specializes in commissioning architectural features.
Jonathon Wells, Commissioning Agent; Youth Ministry Studies at Lincoln Christian College and Seminary.  Jonathon has industry experience since 2003.  Jonathon has taken Metasys DX9100 Engineering and CCT Commissioning Training with JCI.  He was selected as the 2011 MICCS Craftperson of the Year by Johnson Controls.  His 8 years of experience has been in Automatic Temperature Control/Building Automation Systems for commercial and industrial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment with Johnson Controls Inc. His prior controls and industry experience on projects include the Indianapolis Convention Center, Indianapolis Public School Corporation, Tippecanoe School Corporation and Simon Cancer Pavilion.
Brandon Moore, CxT, Project Administrator / Commissioning Technician; Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Transylvania University; ACG Certified Commissioning Technician (CxT) #059-710.  Brandon has administrative experience since 2008. Brandon’s involvement in the following projects includes commissioning report production and distribution and file maintenance: Lucas Oil Stadium, Sweetwater, University of Louisville - Kersey Renovation, Kenton County Middle Schools - Turkey Foot Middle School and Holy Spirit Catholic Church – Spirit 1 and II.
  Cheryl Yates, EIT, Business Manager; Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Kentucky.  Since 2008, Cheryl's responsibilities have included administering accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll management, tax administration and cost analysis.
Kathleen Lockridge, Administrative Associate; Associate Degree of Science in Business Administration from Sullivan University.  Kathleen has administrative experience since 2000. Kathleen’s involvement in the following projects includes commissioning report production and distribution and file maintenance: Indianapolis Public Schools Capital Improvements Program Phase I, II and III, Ball State University – Park Hall, Kenton County Public Schools, Jewish Hospital Medical Center South, and Wendell H.
